Each month during the school year, the Pattonville Board of Education honors students, staff and volunteers who have gained recognition outside of the district or who’ve made a special contribution to Pattonville. Learn more about students and staff who were recognized this month.
The Pattonville School District was one of seven school districts and groups to receive funds from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE)’s Competency-Based Education (CBE) grant program. Of the more than $2.2 million available, Pattonville received $334,000. The maximum amount available to a single applicant was $400,000, with only three districts receiving more than Pattonville.
Due to inclement weather, the Pattonville School District will be closing at 2 p.m. today, Feb. 16. Because today was not a student attendance day, the day does not need to be made up later in the year. Athletics and activities staff will contact students and/or families directly regarding games and events.
Friday’s performance of “Shrek: The Musical” has been rescheduled for 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17. Those with tickets to Friday’s show can use their tickets for the rescheduled Saturday afternoon performance or they can exchange those tickets for another show with available seating. There are additional performances of “Shrek: The Musical” on Saturday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 18 at 2 p.m. Those who would like to cancel their Friday ticket order are asked to email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. so the high school will be able to update available seating for Saturday afternoon.
Friday’s dinner for the 55+ Club is canceled and the meal will not be rescheduled, but members can still attend a show this weekend following the ticketing details provided previously. Members who would like to attend the Saturday afternoon performance can pick up their tickets at the box office. The box office opens one hour before each performance.

The 2023-2024 building-level Teacher of the Year (TOY) and Support Staff of the Year (SSOY) honorees were surprised by special presentations. These staff members were nominated by students, parents and co-workers and chosen as the honoree from their building by their fellow staff members. They are:
